Educational classes - The Jackson Foundation's primary function (as measured by both expenses and devotion of resources) is providing educational classes in art, computer technology, and computer programming. Through its use of The renaissance center, a community-based learning facility that The Jackson Foundation donated to freed-hardeman university (a section 501(c)(3) organization) in 2013, The Jackson Foundation offers year-round classes in a facility with a classroom capacity in excess of 1,110 students. The Jackson Foundation engages instructors from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines to teach these classes.
